  We would highly recommend Kara for any special occasion cake! She made the process so easy - the tasting was fun and delicious, but at the same time we left having a detailed plan for our wedding cake. When we saw the cake on our wedding day, we were not disappointed. It matched her sketch exactly and the sugar flowers were gorgeous! We were big fans of the fondant too - not only did it make the cake look great, but it's delicious!! If we could do it all over again, Kara would be our first choice for our wedding cake. She's great at responding to e-mails, her prices are reasonable, and the cake is wonderful!!

  Kara's cake was gorgeous and delicious. Everyone has commented on it and I have more pictures of the cake than of me in my dress! More importantly, the process of getting the cake was super easy (and all brides know how important it is to have as little stress as possible). We showed up for the tasting with a vague idea of what we wanted. An hour later, we had eaten all of the delicious samples, picked out a flavor and Kara had sketched out our dream cake. She contacted us a few weeks before the wedding with a confirmation of everything we had discussed and delivered the cake without a hitch. We love her and are now looking for more opportunities to get another cake...maybe a cake for Christmas dinner? I can't wait!
  
  UPDATE - We ended up choosing a lavender white chocolate cake to bring to Christmas dinner. Kara shaped it to look like a present complete with a red bow. It was as delicious as it was beautiful. Thank you!

  Kara prepared our wedding cake back in September of this year and she did such a great job! The cake looked exactly the way we wanted and was so professional and lovely to look at. Also the cake tasted wonderful!
  
  We ordered a 3 tier cake with round layers. The bottom and top (anniversary) tier were white cake with blueberry filling and the middle layer was chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling. The outside was covered in homemade fondant dyed yellow. We asked for white flowers and other designs to put on each layer. It was perfect! We have the top cake tier and the handmade magnolia blossom cake topper she made of sugar in our freezer and can't wait to see them on our anniversary :)
  
  Black Bunny Bakery is the only bakery we looked at because we knew from the first visit and tasting that we were going to be all set. Thanks again Kara!
